How to Care for Soccer Jerseys & Apparel:
We strongly suggest that you follow the manufacturer’s guidance for caring for apparel you have purchased. This information can normally be found on the tags of the item. The following instructions are a summary of best practices for caring for soccer apparel.
Washing: The best way to clean soccer jerseys is to set the washing machine for warm wash and cold rinse. Turn your jersey inside out and wash in normal cycle. This is a very important step if your jersey has lettering or numbering attached such as sponsor logo or decal. For the first few washes, you should wash your shirts in a colored wash load, as the residual dye in the fabrics may release enough to bleed into other items.
Drying: It is best to air dry your jerseys. You can soften up the feel of a dry jersey by machine drying at a warm temperature setting for a few minutes ONLY. Never dry in a Hot/High Temperature dryer, especially for an extended period of time. If you over-heat the embellishments such as applied lettering, stripes, or brand logos, they can start to separate from the material, crack, or stick together.
