It has classic lines and traditional styling, but with updated materials, enhanced features, and new design details. Inspired by the original Eusébio boot, its raised bead line, toe overlay, and lateral stability insert incorporate modern production technology into the King XL.
Supersoft, ultrathin full-grain calfskin leather upper, with a soft microfiber ankle lining for comfort and control. The toe has been reinforced with a think layer of abrasion-resistant microfiber for protection and durability. Puma's AptoLast conforms to the curves of your foot for an all-over snug, comfortable fit. A dual-density, injected inner board follows the shape of the AptoLast for reactivity. The heel counter is reinforced with high density silicon for protection and stability.
The trademark formstripe is a support feature, perforated to enhance ventilation to the foot.. Shank support is enhanced by the lasting board’s ridges through the midfoot and support is added by the single central forefoot stud. Supple overlapping leather at the heel, toe, and laces. Outsole is solidly riveted at front and back. Soft EVA insole constructed with lateral ridges at the arches compliment the shape of the upper for solid arch support. Nothing breaks in or breathes like natural leather, and this boot molds to the foot with every wearing.
