PUMA King Finale i FG is clean, contoured, premium K-leather. The PUMA King is the market’s longest-serving football concept still in existence today—the King Finale is the next step in its evolution. This design takes cues from PUMA’s 1986 Mexico Finale boot (that Maradona wore when he beat seven defenders to score ‘The Goal of the Century’), and is revamped with modern technology and materials. PUMA AptoLast conforms to the natural shape of the foot, and when combined with the premium Kangaroo-leather upper, provides a snug fit and superior touch on the ball. The outsole is made of a lightweight high-performance thermoplastic, elastomeric material, and a traditional fold over tongue that provides a clean kicking area and improved pressure distribution upon ball impact.
Supersoft, ultrathin full-grain calfskin leather upper, with a soft microfiber ankle lining for comfort and control. Comfortable mesh tongue breathes, regulates touches and strikes, and includes an extensive fold over to expand the strike zone. Internal synthetic lining prevents slippage and excessive stretching. A dual-density, injected inner board follows the shape of the AptoLast for reactivity. The internal heel counter is reinforced with high density silicon for protection and stability.
The trademark formstripe is a support feature. Shank support is enhanced by ridges through the midfoot in the AptoLast and support is added by the single central forefoot stud. Supple overlapping leather at the heel and laces. Outsole is solidly riveted at front and back. Soft EVA insole constructed with lateral ridges at the arches compliment the shape of the upper for solid arch support. Nothing breaks in or breathes like natural leather, and this boot molds to the foot with every wearing.
